On May 10 at 9:25 a.m., the Sheriff’s Office received a call from the victim, identified as Debra Nevison, who reported the home invasion.

Nevison said the man was standing in her doorway when she saw him. When he was discovered, he threw the glass container, striking her in the head. She then tried to run past the subject and out the door he was standing inside, but he blocked her by pushing a ladder into her, knocking her to the ground.

Nevison last saw the man running from the home on foot. It is unknown if the man had a vehicle.

The man is described as a white male in his early-20s, wearing a dark colored flannel shirt and blue jeans. He was clean shaven with sandy brown hair.

Authorities searched the surrounding area and residences for the man, but did not locate anyone matching the description. The incident remains under investigation.
