FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (AP) — Comic book fans will converge on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds this weekend for the Midwest Comic Book Association’s SpringCon.

More than 225 comic book creators are expected at this year’s comic book carnival.

The event opens to the public at 10 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Admission is $12 per adult, good for both days. Children 9 and under are free. A canned food donation knocks $1 off admission.
