Minn. Teen Arrested After Pellet Gun Fired

FERGUS FALLS, Minn. (AP) — Police have arrested a 14-year-old boy after a pellet gun was shot at a vehicle and people in Fergus Falls.

The first call came in just before 11 p.m. Wednesday. A woman had a minor injury above her left eye and the skin was broken.

KBRF-AM reports another call came in about another vehicle possibly hit by something in the same block.

The Daily Journal of Fergus Falls reports when police arrived, the suspect said he had accidentally shot someone, but was only aiming at trees and had not meant any harm.

The boy said he was bored at home and decided to shoot his pellet gun.

Charges are expected Friday.
