Police Seek Suspects After Kidnapping Attempt In Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Minneapolis said Friday they're looking for three suspects in connection with an attempted kidnapping earlier this month.

Authorities said the incident happened at about 2:25 p.m. back on May 5 near the area of 36th Street West and Zenith Avenue South. The victim, a 13-year-old girl, told police that three white men approached her. One of the men grabbed her and threatened her. She then screamed, and the three men fled the area on foot.

Police said one suspect is described as a 35 to 40-year-old white man with a muscular build similar to a WWF wrestler. Another is a 35 to 40-year-old white man with a blonde buzzed haircut. The third suspect is also 35 to 40 years old, police said.
