Wis. Man Dies After Falling Out Of Party Bus

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said a 23-year-old man from western Wisconsin died Saturday night after he apparently fell out the back door of a party bus.

Ellsworth Police responded to an accident involving a bus at about 11:06 p.m. Saturday on Highway 10 and West Hill. When authorities arrived, a man from River Falls, Wis., had fallen out the back of the bus and emergency personnel attempted to revive him, but he was pronounced dead.

Police said the bus was owned by Elijah Omweno and leased to the Kilimanjaro Party Bus Company.

The victim was later identified as Joel K. Velure of River Falls, Wis. The incident is still under investigation by Ellsworth Police with assistance from the Pierce County Sheriff's Office.
