Another Year, Another Playground Built By Vikings

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Vikings traded in cleats for work boots today as players and staff took part in their annual playground building project.

On Thursday they were in the Howe neighborhood in Minneapolis.

It's the one time of year that the entire team does community service together, which makes for some great team-bonding with the new players added to the roster.

And there's some friendly competition when it comes to their work assignments, too.

After Thursday's event, coach Leslie Frazier said Jared Allen and Greg Jennings should be good to go for OTAs next week.

Allen is expected in Minnesota on Saturday, and Jennings is taking it easy after a minor ankle injury.
