EXCELSIOR, Minn. (WCCO) — With the summer months almost upon us, classic car shows will be scheduled all over the state.
And this weekend in Excelsior, 100 vehicles will take center stage with the 10,000 Lakes Concours d’Elegance.
It’s an inaugural car show that only features factory correct or stock vehicles — no hotrods.
“Everything here is stock and original,” Roger Huber said. “It’s an honor to be invited to a show like this.”
Visitors will see some of the more luxurious models of a particular decade, and get a glimpse at history.
This Concours d’Elengance may be a first for this community, but the hope is it brings in crowds for years to come.
The car show runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday in the Excelsior Park Commons. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the event, with proceeds helping the Courage Center.
