Patrol: Foley Woman Dies After Crashing Head-On With Semi

BENTON COUNTY, Minn. (WCCO) -- A head-on crash with a freight semi killed a Foley woman late Friday night in Benton County, according to the state patrol.

Authorities are investigating the incident that killed Cynthia Zillmer, 57, of Foley, Minn., at about 11:20 p.m. Friday just outside of Gilman on Highway 25 in central Minnesota.

The patrol said Zillmer's 2013 Chevrolet Equinox crossed the center line and connected head-on with the semi on the undivided road.

The driver of the semi, Jesse Roehl, 23, of Foley was uninjured.
