MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — An 18-month-old toddler is in the hospital after falling from the 2nd story of a Minneapolis duplex Sunday evening, according to Minneapolis police.

According to a police spokeswoman Cyndi Barrington, a 911 call came in at 6:27 p.m. on the report of a fall on the 1800 block of 10th Avenue South.

The child was taken to the Hennepin County Medical Center with unknown injuries. The mother was also taken to the hospital to be with the child.
