Paddle Boarding Growing In Popularity Across Minnesota
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – It seems like we all love to get outside and get on the lake when the weather warms up in the summer in Minnesota.
We love to boat and fish, but a slightly different sport is quickly gaining popularity across the state. Paddle Boarding, where one stands on a board and paddles their way across water, is quickly becoming one of the favorite activities for lake enthusiasts.
Experts said it's an activity that a lot of people can get attached to because it's relatively easy and doesn't take a lot of skill. It's a different way to get a tour of a lake and get closer to wildlife.
You can do a variety of things from the boards, including fishing and even yoga.
