WCCO This Morning Team Tests New S'mores Recipe

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – With WCCO's "Goin' to the Lake" series this week just about to wrap up, the WCCO This Morning team decided to enjoy a little dessert.

Jason DeRusha, Jamie Yuccas, Mike Auguastyniak and Natalie Nyhus have been out on Lake Calhoun this week, doing everything from pitching a tent and competing in paddleboat races.

On Friday morning, they decided to test out a new S'mores recipe.

Jason DeRusha, who also moonlights as a food writer, said he decided the recipe needed a new spin with "the most pretentious thing possible." He swapped out the traditional chocolate for a daub of Nutella spread.

The morning show crew also experimented with a few other additions, including peanut butter cups and raspberries. You can see them taste-testing the results in the video above.
