Wis. Motorcyclist Dies After Colliding With Deer

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A 59-year-old Baldwin, Wis. man is dead after colliding with a deer in western Wisconsin Tuesday evening, according to the St. Croix County Sheriff’s Office.

At 7:54 p.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to a single motorcycle crash on County Road G in Emerald, Wis.

Authorities say a 2013 Harley Davidson, driven by Robert Cripe, was traveling westbound on County Road G when a deer entered the westbound lane from the south ditch. The motorcycle then struck the deer and Cripe was ejected from the motorcycle.

Cripe was airlifted to Regions Hospital in St. Paul where he later died.
