MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Minneapolis Public Schools (MPS) are canceling summer school programs for five buildings Monday due to power outages.

The summer school programs that are affected include Folwell, Lucy Laney, Nellie Stone Johnson and South High School and the Broadway High School summer program at Longfellow.

Damage from recent storms has caused power outages at a total of eight MPS buildings.
