MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police say they arrested two men Tuesday night in connection with a shooting that left one man dead and another injured on the city's south side earlier in the week.

Diamond Lee Jamal Griffin, 24, and Ryan Grant, 22, are both in custody pending formal charges.

The arrests stem from a shooting that took place on the 3600 block of Columbus Avenue South at about 11:15 p.m. Monday night. At the scene, police say they found a man who had died and another who had suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Crews brought the wounded man the Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment.

Officials have yet to identify the victims.
