Rochester Man Gets 17 Years For Possessing, Trying To Sell Meth

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 45-year-old Rochester man was sentenced to more than 17 years in prison Thursday for possessing meth with the intent to sell it, the Department of Justice said.

Christopher Lee Talamantes was sentenced to 210 months in prison after pleading guilty last December to one count of possession with intent to distribute.

In a plea agreement, Talamantes admitted that in 2011 officers found about $1,900 and 600 grams of meth in his apartment. In another incident that year, officers also seized about 2.6 grams of meth and $13,748 at his apartment.
