Amputee Veterans Prove They're Still In The Game
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A group of veterans is proving their war wounds won't slow them down.
They're all part of the Wounded Warriors Amputee Softball team. The group plays exhibition games around the country, and their goal is to show other veterans and civilians that they can still be in the game, even if they've been severely injured.
On Friday, WCCO's Chris Shaffer took part in a game in Waconia. Watch the video above to see which team won, and how Chris did.
