Overnight Mpls House Fire Kills 1

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- A house fire on the 4600 block of Minnehaha Avenue Friday night turned fatal.

Firefighters were able to pull the victim and a pet from the home, but the individual died at the scene.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation, but officials suspect it may have started in the kitchen.

The victim's identity is unknown.
