Woman Killed In Friday House Fire Identified

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The identity of the woman killed in a fire on Friday has been released.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner said Kelly Ann Dugan, 50, of Minneapolis, died of smoke inhalation in the fire, which occurred on the 4500 block of Minnehaha Avenue South.

The Minneapolis Fire Department responded to the fire around 10:20 p.m. on Friday, where they rescued Dugan and performed CPR on her. She died at the scene.

A dog was also pulled from the fire.

Investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
