St. Paul Hosting Annual Highland Fest This Weekend

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- When more than 60,000 people attend an event every year, you know it's a good time.

That's exactly the case again this year as the Highland Fest is a St. Paul tradition. From a 5K run, to a strong man competition and yes, carnival rides, there's something for everyone. Let's definitely not forget about the Beer Dabbler, where several local breweries will be on hand to let beer enthusiast quench their thirst for local flavors.

This is the 30th year of the Highland Fest, and one of the main attractions will come from the folks at Haskell's. They'll be providing samplings on Friday of their beer and wine. They'll have craft beers available, which Ted Farrell said is one of the hottest trends right now.

Haskell's will also have about 20 different types of wine paired with various cheeses.
