HUGO, Minn. (WCCO) -- A 76-year-old man from Hugo who authorities say suffers from mild bipolar syndrome has been reported missing in Washington County.

Authorities say that Radivoje Ray Novakovic was reported missing on Sunday evening. He had gone out for a walk at about 7 p.m. and still hadn't returned after about three hours, which was when officers were contacted.

There was concern over the case because Novakovic also is a diagnosed diabetic, and has been known to sometimes become disoriented, according to the Washington County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities say he was last seen wearing a maroon shirt, khaki pants and a brown hat.

The search for Novakovic includes personnel from Hugo, Forest Lake, Centennial Lakes and White Bear Lake.

The sheriff's office said they do not believe that there is foul play involved, but request that anyone living in the Hugo area contact them if they see Novakovic.
