Swimmer Reported Missing On Lake Near Hutchinson
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said a swimmer has been reported missing after an adult male tried to get across Hook Lake Wednesday morning.
The McLeod County Sheriff's Office was called to the lake, which is about three miles north of Hutchinson, at about 11:33 a.m. Authorities said a family member reported the man missing after he tried to swim across the lake but hasn't been seen.
The McLeod County Sheriff's Office has a boat in the lake searching for the swimmer with assistance from Carver County and a dive team from Hutchinson. The Minnesota State Patrol also has a helicopter searching from above for assistance.
