Local Motocross Star Hosting River Ride For Charity

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- If you're looking for some excitement this weekend, you might want to head to Millville, Minn., right outside of Rochester.

You'll be able to see some of the best motocross racers in the world in the Spring Creek Motocross Nationals. One of them is Minnesota native Ryan Dungey.

He's taking the sport by storm. Ryan currently has the second-most wins in the history of the sport.

Not long after this weekend's event, he'll be participating in the Minnesota Major River-to-River Ride on Sunday, July 28. It's a ride for cyclists where all donations and registration fees go towards St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It's a 100K cycling tour along the St. Croix and Mississippi River valleys.
