Not Too Late To Try A New Summer Salad
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The weather this weekend may feel like autumn arriving a month or two ahead of schedule, but you can still feel like 98 degrees with a summer salad.
Natalie Nyhus dropped into Lunds recently, where they just launched 24 new salads.
She talked with chef Tim Tesch who develops them. He showed her a salad made from farrout.
"Farrout is one of the seven ancient grains, closely related to wheat," Tesch said. "You cook it just like rice."
The salad Tesch made also features broccoli and kale, and it's all topped with a lemon vinaigrette dressing.
You can see the two of them working on the salad in the video above.
