Local Music Tap: Walker’s (Free) Music & Movies Returns

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Walker Art Center’s “Summer Music & Movies” event returns to Loring Park tonight – and it’s all for free.

Local music artists kick off the shows at 7 p.m. every Monday night through Aug. 19. Movies begin at dusk (approximately 8:45 p.m.)

Local music artists include the Prissy Clerks, Roe Family Singers + Charlie Parr, The Chalice, and Zoo Animal + Aby Wolf + Grant Cutler.

Mexican conceptual artist Abraham Cruzvillegas, whose work is featured in a new exhibition at the Walker, selected this year’s films.

In case of rain, events move to the Walker Cinema.
