ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Minn. (AP) – Sheriff’s officials have released the name of a 14-year-old boy who died in a swimming accident in Voyageurs National Park in northern Minnesota.

St. Louis County authorities say Briggs Anderson of Fergus Falls was with a church group touring Rainy Lake by houseboat when the accident happened Monday evening.

The boy was taken by air to Essentia Health in Duluth where he later died.

Autopsy results are pending.
