Mpls Cops: Help ID This Car In Connection With Homicide

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Police said they need the public's help in identifying a vehicle that was known to have been in the area of where a homicide took place Monday night.

Minneapolis police believe it's a Mercury Grand Marquis, or a Ford Crown Victoria with a custom paint job in medium powder blue. The car has no hub caps, and the photos taken of the vehicle were from a security camera in the area of the shooting.

The deadly shooting took place at 6:34 p.m. on the 4300 block of Fourth Avenue South, where the victim was taken to HCMC, but later died.
