Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Itasca Co. Rollover

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A motorcyclist is in the hospital after colliding with a truck on Highway 38 in Deer Lake, Minn. Sunday, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The State Patrol says at 12:31 p.m., a 2005 Harley Davidson Ultra Glide was traveling southbound on Highway 38 near Crystal Waters Road when it crossed over the centerline and struck a second vehicle, a Ford F-150.

The Ford then overcorrected, which caused it to roll into the ditch. The driver of the Ford was not injured.

The motorcyclist was taken to the hospital.

The identities of both victims are expected to be released later Sunday.
