MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A 39-year-old Cambridge woman who worked at the Isanti County Jail was arrested last Thursday in connection with an ongoing drug case at the facility, according to the Isanti County Sheriff’s Office.

Cara Sue Lindgren, who worked as a nurse at the Isanti County Jail, is accused of ordering oxycodone and hydrocodone and was charged with fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance. She was also charged with fraudulent statements in reference to altered prescriptions.

Through an investigation, it was revealed that she ordered a substantial amount of prescription drugs and she was accused of fraud after discrepancies came up on drugs ordered through the jail.

Lindgren was booked into the Pine County Jail last Thursday and released Friday on bail with conditions. The Isanti County Sheriff’s Office said the case is still active and under investigation.
