Minneapolis Stabbing Victim Identified

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Authorities have identified the person who died after suffering stab wounds in Minneapolis on Sunday morning.

Minneapolis police said the victim was located at 10:54 a.m. on Aug. 11 on the 2200 block of Portland Avenue South.

He was found lying in a driveway with stabbing injuries, and died after being transported to Hennepin County Medical Center.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner said the victim was 33-year-old Alejandro Andujar of Minneapolis. His death was attributed to complications from a stab wound in the chest.

The Minneapolis Police Homicide Unit is investigating the case. As of yet, no arrests have been reported.
