MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A Minnesota girl who’s fighting a rare autoimmune disease has a new partner at her side.
Meghan Trimble got so sick from Lupus that she missed an entire school year. And according to her mother, the sickness robbed Meghan of the ability to smile.
But little did the Lino Lakes girl know…she’d soon have company on her road to recovery.
WCCO-TV’s cameras were there when the Make A Wish Foundation gave Meghan a gift that almost instantly brought her to tears…and her smile back.
“It’s like a dream come true,” Meghan said.
