FALCON HEIGHTS, Minn. (WCCO) – One Minnesota State Fair fan has been enjoying the Great Get-Together for a century.

That’s right — Loretta Ecklund still walks the fairgrounds at 100 years young.

“I can still get up and dance,” she said, and then did just that.

And when she’s ready to sit down, she comes to WCCO.

“That’s my station and I like to watch all the time,” she said.

At her age, she knows what she likes — roasted corn.

“It’s sweet, it’s Minnesota grown and it has butter on it — that’s what I like,” she said.

She commemorates each fair with a souvenir.

And she likes to remember each fair she’s attended with a souvenir.

“I’m proud of the buttons because I’ve been saving them all these years,” she said.
