ST. LOUIS PARK, Minn. (AP) — The Twin Cities Film Fest is giving an advance look at some of the movies in its 2013 lineup.

Alexander Payne’s “Nebraska” and the film adaptation of Tracy Letts’ Pulitzer- and Tony-winning play “August: Osage County” are among movies at this year’s festival.

“Nebraska” stars Bruce Dern as a cantankerous father who takes his son, played by Will Forte, on a road trip to claim a sweepstakes prize.

“August: Osage County” features Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts and Ewan McGregor in Letts’ dark comedy about a dysfunctional family brought back home.

Also on the festival schedule is “One Chance,” based on the true story of an amateur opera singer who becomes a YouTube sensation.

The festival runs Oct. 17-26 at the ShowPlace ICON Theatre in St. Louis Park.
