MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — As the Minnesota Orchestra musicians lockout continues, the musicians are demanding to see updated financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
On Tuesday, orchestra administrators said a financial review proves they’ve been financially responsible. But the musicians said it wasn’t a thorough enough analysis.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the musicians said all conclusions within the financial review are based on assumptions, opinions, and data provided solely by management without input from any outside sources or industry experts.
Orchestra management said they are ready to sit down with the musicians again.
The musicians said they want access to the updated financial reports as they attempt to reach a fair and reasonable settlement.
