ST. PAUL, Minn. (WCCO) -- Ramsey County investigators say they have busted a major identity theft ring involving the personal information of hundreds.

Four St. Paul women have been charged in the string of ID thefts. The victims were retired state employees, investigators said.

Ramsey County Attorney John Choi says one of the women, 49-year-old Roxanne Deflorin, is a former state employee who had access to those employees' social security numbers.

The other three suspects are: Shauntell Burg, 32; Kristin Warren, 40; and Andrea Gunderson, 30.

Choi said both the Public Employees Retirement Association and the state Department of Labor and Industry have contacted the victims.

The Ramsey County Attorney's Office also has set up a website offering help to those with questions at idtheftcase.org.
