Motorcyclist Killed After Swerving To Avoid Deer
BLACK RIVER FALLS, Wis. (WCCO) -- A motorcyclist that swerved to avoid striking a deer in the road was killed in a crash near Black River Falls Tuesday afternoon.
The Wisconsin State Patrol responded to the scene at Oakridge Road about a half-mile north of State Highway 27.
Investigators said the motorcyclist was ejected after losing control of his motorcycle. He slid down the road.
He wasn't wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The motorcyclist died of his injuries while being airlifted to a hospital in La Crosse, Wis.
He was later identified as 61-year-old Kenneth Fulton of Black River Falls.
