Mpls. Police Locate Teen Girl Who Went Missing

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police say they have located a 15-year-old girl who went missing over the weekend and who was believed to be in a dangerous situation in the north metro area.

Charo White had last been seen Saturday near Xerxes Avenue North and Plymouth Avenue North.

The Minneapolis Police Department said she willingly left the area on the city's north side, but she's believed to be involved in an "endangering situation", the details of which were not given.

On Wednesday morning, police said they received a call from a citizen saying that she had just seen the missing girl near 42nd Avenue North and Irving Avenue North.

An officer at the scene found White. No other details were provided about her condition.

The police department thanked the Twin Cities public for helping locate the teen.
