Rat Poison Found At Crystal Dog Park

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- The Crystal Police Department is investigating after someone put rat poison inside the fenced area of a local dog park.

According to a post on the Crystal Police Department's Facebook page, an unknown suspect put the rat poison inside Welcome Park on Sunday.

One dog did chew on it but thankfully, the pet's owner caught it in time.

No pets were injured due to the poison inside.

Authorities are asking for the public's help regarding this incident.

Anyone with information about the crime or if anyone was in Welcome Park and noticed anything suspicious is asked to contact Crystal Police.
