MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Powerball jackpot will be a big talker yet again this week as nobody won the jackpot over the weekend, and the next winner will have a big prize.

Officials said the jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing will likely exceed $400 million after nobody won the big prize in Saturday night’s drawing. The numbers were 1, 17, 25, 37, 44 and a Powerball of 20.

The big prize for Wednesday will be about $400 million. That’s $225 million if you take the cash option. Minnesota had the most recent big winner in Powerball as Paul White of Ham Lake won a $149.4 million jackpot just more than a month ago.

Minnesota State Lottery officials said the Powerball jackpots are getting to bigger amounts faster now that tickets are $2 each.
