Boy Injured While Playing On Moving Train In Mpls.

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - A boy is in the hospital Saturday night after playing with friends on a moving train.

According to BNSF Railways spokeswoman Amy McBeth, the accident happened around 6 p.m. on the tracks near Fillmore Street Northeast and Broadway Avenue in Minneapolis.

McBeth says it appears the boy was either trying to jump on or off of a moving train.

His foot got caught on the tracks, and he suffered a foot injury. She didn't know the severity of the injury.

The incident is still under investigation.

On Aug. 15, 9-year-old Marshawn Kenneth Farr-Robinson lost both of his feet after slipping under a moving train in St. Paul.
