MN's Hazelden Merges With California's Betty Ford Center
MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- Two of the country's leading addiction treatment centers have agreed to merge.
Under the plan, Minnesota's Hazelden and California's Betty Ford Center will be re-named to the "Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation."
In a joint statement, the centers said combining the two organizations will give them a broader reach once the new federal health care law is implemented.
If approved by federal regulators, the deal should be completed by the end of the year.
