MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Authorities said a man was shot as many as four times early Wednesday morning in Minneapolis and police are looking for a suspect.

Police were called to the 500 block of Cedar Avenue in Minneapolis at about 2 a.m. When authorities arrived, a shooting had happened on the sidewalk near a parking lot. Police said a man in his early 30s was shot four times and was transported to Hennepin County Medical Center but is in stable condition and is expected to live.

The suspect fled the area before police arrived and authorities said they’re investigating what led up to the shooting. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Minneapolis Police.
