Missing Forest Lake Teen Found Safe

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) - Within three hours after the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension released a missing endangered person alert for a Forest Lake teen, she announced on her Facebook page that she's safe and has talked with her parents.

According to Chisago County Sheriff's office, 18-year-old Jade Alexandra Kelm was last seen early Sunday morning at Sunrise Estates Trailer Court in Stacy in the company of her boyfriend, 19-year-old Ryley Thomas Olson of North Branch.

On Monday afternoon, Kelm announced "I'm fine and I contacted my parents."

Forest Lake Police Captain Greg Weiss confirmed the news, adding that Kelm was with Olson "on her own free will."

Olson is a suspect in a burglary and assault which happened right before the pair went missing.

Kelm, who is not a suspect in ether crime, left behind her car, wallet, credit cards and IDs.

Authorities believe Olson was in the Plymouth area at about 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.

People with information on Olson's whereabouts are urged to call Forest Lake Police or the Chisago County Sheriff's office.
