ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Minn. (WCCO) – The photographer who went missing Saturday night north of Ely, Minn., was found at 3 a.m. on Sunday by authorities.

The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Department said the country rescue squad located John Ratzloff, 66, in the early morning hours on Sunday after he was able to start a fire to keep warm.

Ratzloff was uninjured and had gotten lost while taking photos near the Cloquet Line in Morse Township.
