Panel Examining Minn. Fraud Prevention To Meet
ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) -- A working group of Minnesota lawmakers is taking a deep look at health care billing and regulations.
The Fraud Prevention Working Group was scheduled to meet Thursday at the Capitol. On its agenda are examinations of regulatory and billing practices for facilities that offer MRIs or CT scans, massage therapy and other types of treatment.
The panel is comprised of 11 legislators.
The Legislature is in recess until February, but a range of committees and task forces have been holding hearings this fall to start preparing for next year.
