ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota RollerGirls are celebrating a decade of roller derby.

The Minnesota RollerGirls hold their first bout of the season Saturday night at Roy Wilkins Auditorium in St. Paul.

The St. Paul City Council has declared the season opener "Minnesota RollerGirls Day."

Each of the four Minnesota RollerGirls home teams will face off — round robin-style — in a home team mini-tournament. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The famous Minnesota RollerGirls "black-eye booth" will be available throughout the bout. Fans can get a "black eye" for $1 or team-theme face makeup for $2.

Tickets are $13 in advance and $15 at the door.
