Funeral Held For Kira Steger In Wisconsin

ROTHCHILD, Wis. (WCCO) - A funeral was held Saturday afternoon for Kira Steger in Rothschild, Wis.

Steger's body was recovered from the Mississippi River in May, five months after she went missing.

At Saturday's funeral, Kira's sister, Felicia Krejci, said she holds Kira's memory with her every day.

"I can see her face laughing at me because I'm the silly little sister," Krejci said. "Everywhere I go I can feel her there with me."

Kira's husband, Jeffery Trevino, was found guilty of killing her.

He'll be sentenced next month and could face at least 20 years in prison.
