Behind The Scenes At CBS This Morning

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) -- On the first floor of Studio 57, CBS This Morning gets going at 7 a.m. And never really stops.

Even when the news ends on the East Coast at 9 a.m., the crew updates the show for the West Coast.

That means a lot of people in the studio and behind the scenes.

They even have a makeup room, where hair and wardrobe people make sure everyone looks just right.

Our own Jamie Yuccas and Jason DeRusha were in town to shoot promotional spots, while Gayle King, Norah O'Donnell and Charlie Rose put the news back in the morning.

On this particular day, they talked to newsmakers like author John Grisham, celebrities, politicians and correspondents. But they have fun both on and off camera.

They're all friends, who really make everyone feel at home.

One way to get guests comfortable is to have them wait in a glass green room, making them a part of the show before the interview.

They also get guests to have a few laughs in the photo booth.

While we created memories, you also felt part of the CBS family.

Watch the video above for more behind-the-scenes action.
