MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – Police in Bloomington said nobody was hurt and no arrests have been made after a report of a shooting Tuesday morning.

Authorities responded to the 7900 block of American Boulevard near the parking lots of the LaQuinta Hotel and a Culver’s restaurant after a report of shots fired. When authorities arrived, they learned an altercation had taken place between a vehicle and a van, and the van was shot at.

Police said both vehicles fled the area, and the van hit a light pole in one of the parking lots. Four people were inside the van at the time of the incident, but none was hurt. Authorities are questioning the pople in the van to find out what led up to the shooting.

No arrests have been made and police are still attempting to put together a description of the other vehicle involved. Anyone with information should call Bloomington Police.
