MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – St. Paul’s Summit Avenue will definitely be in the Halloween spirit Thursday evening during the annual candy giveaway at the Governor’s Mansion.

Gov. Mark Dayton will not be there, but volunteers will be handing out candy to trick-or-treaters. Kids decked out in costumes can get bite-sized Pearson’s Salted Nut Rolls or a mini pumpkin to take home.

The event runs from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday night at 1006 Summit Ave.
