Varsity Theatre’s Restroom Nominated As 1 Of Nation’s Top 10

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — When you think of where one of the best restrooms in the country might be, Dinkytown in Minneapolis might not come to mind.

But, in a contest by the restroom services company Cintas, the Varsity Theater restroom has been nominated as one of the 10 best in the country.

Theater owner Jason McLean designed and built the restrooms himself. Besides the interesting brickwork, there’s also a sink that has a rainshower head and runs by floor pedal. And don’t forget about the large full length mirror.

“It’s very definitely whimsical,” said Lindsay Erickson, Catering and Events Sales Manager.

Voting for the best restroom has now ended. The winner will be announced soon, and will receive the America’s Best Restroom plaque.
